Knitting in Blue
This post isn’t about me or my knitting. Yes, shocking, I know. Remain calm.
Trey at Daddy, Papa and Me is a fellow adoptive parent and a knitter, among other things. He’s come up with an idea to raise awareness and money for marriage equality – Knitting in Blue.
The idea is to raise money for candidates in California (they live in the Bay Area, IIRC) who will support making marriage a reality for everyone. For every $2 people donate, he will knit a row on a blue afghan. The afghans will be donated to the Afghans for Afghans project (see this post for all the details). So – check out what Trey’s doing, and help him out.
Very cool. I’ll be sure to donate as soon a payday comes;) Friday seems so far away sometimes.
